Andrea Ripley is a glass artist who is focusing on creating functional work with a creative twist.  Colours, patterns and textures fascinate her.  She strives to incorporate these elements into her pieces, allowing them to accentuate the clean forms and optic properties of glass. 

Since completing her formal education, she has been very fortunate to be able to continue working with glass full time.  She is presently a resident of Glen Williams Glass Studio, a cooperative community of artists with studios located in Georgetown, Ontario. 

She graduated from the Craft and Design program at Sheridan College in 2006 with an immense appreciation of all mediums of art.  Prior to that, she studied at Waterloo University and graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Arts, Psychology.
