Marlene Madole
The changing landscape inspires her. Working on location, Marlene frequently returns to the area of her subjects to observe changes brought about by new seasons, weather conditions, time of day and quality of light. In a recent series of paintings entitled “Moving Water”, Marlene explored the connecting creeks and portages of Georgian Bay, Killarney, and the Credit River Valley. Marlene is a graduate of Ontario’s Sheridan College and has also studied at the Ontario College of Art & Design. A member since 1997 of the Canadian Society of Painters in Water Colour, she is currently their 1st Vice-President. Her work is featured in private and public collections throughout Canada, the US, and Europe. |
