This 8-week course is designed as an introduction to fingerstyle guitar and will progress from the basics to more complex songs involving folk, ragtime and alternate tunings. You will learn a variety of tunes including some from Bruce Cockburn and John Fahey. Students must have a solid chord base and be comfortable with bar chords. |

This course offers students the opportunity to expand knowledge on combining new media into one. Students will be working with an iPad and will by renowned art instructor and former Fanshawe College Professor Judy Mayer-Grieve. Students will learn how to use tools, colours, brushes and layers and steps in between to create one-of-a-kind pieces. |
